Born in Lancaster, England, Andy came to Utah in 2007 in search of The Greatest Snow on Earth—he certainly found it. Returning for seven winters until permanent residence in 2014, he now enjoys all four of Utah’s distinctive, beautiful seasons. When not working on real estate or playing in the mountains, he can be found renovating his home and garden, laughing with his wife and one-year-old daughter, and being outsmarted by his dog.
Andy graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Geography. He dedicated his early career to developing a deeper understanding of people and assisting them in all aspects of life. He worked at a special needs college for young adults with intellectual disabilities and then ran a seasonal homeless shelter. After taking a break from charity work he stumbled across the ski industry and never looked back.
Andy is delighted to be working at Blakemore Real Estate with such a close-knit team of dedicated professionals. He feels Blakemore's commitment to establishing meaningful client relationships aligns perfectly with his values and experience.
He has always put the needs of his clients first from running a luxury chalet in Les Gets, France, to his highly successful ski instructing career in Pila, Italy; Cardrona, New Zealand; Sun Peaks, Canada; and Snowbird, Canyons and Park City in Utah. Such an approach has seen him awarded Instructor of the Year at Snowbird 2011 and Park City 2017, plus the highly-coveted Beard of the Year award at Cardrona 2011.
